For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God
Acts 3:19-23 19 Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord, 20 and that He may send Jesus Christ, who was preached to you before, 21 whom heaven must receive until the times of restoration of all things, which God has spoken by the mouth of all His holy prophets since the world began. 22 For Moses truly said to the fathers, ‘The Lord your God will raise up for you a Prophet like me from your brethren. Him you shall hear in all things, whatever He says to you. 23 And it shall be that every soul who will not hear that Prophet shall be utterly destroyed from among the people.’
Acts 20:20-21 20 (You know) how I kept back nothing that was helpful, but proclaimed it to you, and taught you publicly and from house to house, 21 testifying to Jews, and also to Greeks, repentance toward God and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.
Acts 26:19-20 Therefore, King Agrippa, I was not disobedient to the heavenly vision, 20 but declared first to those in Damascus and in Jerusalem, and throughout all the region of Judea, and then to the Gentiles, that they should repent, turn to God, and do works befitting repentance.
Ezekiel 33:11 Say to them: ‘As I live,’ says the Lord God, ‘I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but that the wicked turn from his way and live. Turn, turn from your evil ways! For why should you die, O house of Israel?’

Why do you call me ‘Lord, Lord,’ and not do what I tell you?
Matthew 7:21-23 21 “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the Kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of my Father in heaven. 22 Many will say to me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in your name, cast out demons in your name, and done many wonders in your name?’ 23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you who practice lawlessness!’

If you had never examined the Parable of the Sower for yourself to see how it applies to you, you need to do that. Slow down and spend time in God's word so you know what's going on, not in the world, but in your life, because Jesus has spoken that word for all those who have ears to hear HIM (not hear other people or what other people said He said). As for what's coming to this world, you need to stay in the word of God and be watching and praying rather than keeping up with the news about the Middle East and other parts of the world with the things people are going to be saying to only bring confusion. Make sure you get God's word in you while you still can. It's your light and your life! And as Jesus' disciple and light of the world, endeavor as you can to bring others to find Jesus and come out of this death trap that this sinful world is.
John 17:3
And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.

THE SEAL OF GOD
Revelation 7:2-3
Then I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God. And he cried with a loud voice to the four angels to whom it was granted to harm the earth and the sea, saying, “Do not harm the earth, the sea, or the trees till we have sealed the servants of our God on their foreheads.”
Revelation 9:4
They were commanded not to harm the grass of the earth, or any green thing, or any tree, but only those men who do not have the seal of God on their foreheads.
The seal of God is a sign of obedience to God / having turned away and stayed away from sin:
2 Timothy 2:19
Nevertheless the solid foundation of God stands, having this seal: “The Lord knows those who are His,” and, “Let everyone who names the name of Christ depart from unrighteousness.”
( Obedience to God is nothing new... Adam and Eve DIS-OBEYED and sinned, so obedience which is the essence of faith, is what initiates and follows salvation:
Deuteronomy 6:6-9
6. And these words, which I command you this day, shall be in your heart: 7. And you shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise up. 8. And you shall BIND THEM FOR A SIGN UPON YOUR HAND (hand?), AND THEY SHALL BE AS FRONTLETS BETWEEN YOUR EYES (forehead?). 9. And you shall write them upon the posts of you house, and on your gates. )

1 Corinthians 7:19
Circumcision is nothing and uncircumcision is nothing, but keeping the commandments of God is what matters.

Luke 13:24
Strive to enter in at the narrow gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.
Philippians 2:12
Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.
Luke 17:26-32
26 And as it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man. 27 They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all. 28 Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built; 29 But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all. 30 Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed. 31 In that day, he which shall be upon the housetop, and his stuff in the house, let him not come down to take it away: and he that is in the field, let him likewise not return back. 32 Remember Lot's wife.
Remember that as Christians, disciples of Christ, we are in a spiritual war for our souls (1 Peter 5:8; Ephesians 6:12) and we follow a Commander whose strategy against sin which leads to death is perfect and guaranteed to lead sinners who obey Him and repent and continue in obedience to his word to be changed by Him (Romans 5:19; 2 Corinthians 5:17), FREED FROM SIN (John 8:31-36; Romans 6:16-19), to walk to the final victory where the reward is eternal life. Only those who are regenerated by the Holy Spirit (Titus 3:3-7), that is, born again believers (John 3:3-7) who walk continuously in holiness and righteousness (Luke 1:75; Hebrews 12:14; 1 Peter 1:16; Ephesians 4:24) will be saved. If you obey Christ He will change you into the man or woman you need to be to enter his Kingdom. Just as Adam became a mortal man when he sinned, so do you, as one who has sinned, need to be restored to life through faith in Jesus Christ. Faith then is faithful obedience to Him (Hebrews 5:9). The Gospel is clear that salvation is not found through following men and religious organizations. Life is found in the Word of God (Matthew 4:4; John 6:63) made flesh, Jesus Himself. Don't make the mistake of defining your walking, talking, breathing experiencing as life until you know you have found the fullness of life that is only found in in Jesus (John 10:10). For you are dead while in your trespasses and sins (Ephesians 2:1). Therefore, hear Jesus, seek Him, find Him and live... your Life to the fullest!
Matthew 5:29-30
29 And if your right eye causes you to stumble, pluck it out and cast it from you.* For it is better for you that one of your members should perish and not that your whole body should be cast into Gehenna. 30 And if your right hand causes you to stumble, cut it off and cast it from you,* for it is better for you that one of your members should perish and not that your whole body should depart into Gehenna.
Matthew 6:22-23
22 The eye is the lamp of the body. So if your eye is clear, your whole body will be full of light. 23 But if your eye is evil, your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the light within you is darkness, how great is that darkness!
