En el encontrará versículos bíblicos que le ayudarán en su caminar con Dios. 2.-Medite profundamente acerca de los versículos que lea cada día y mientras reflexiona acerca de lo que lee, cada día hable con DIOS con toda naturalidad y sinceridad como si estuviera hablando con un buen amigo. Esto le permitirá comenzar a conocer a Dios y acercarse espiritualmente a Él para que la obra de redención de Dios para su vida comience a través de la fe.  Hebreos 11:1 Es, pues, la fe la certeza de lo que se espera, la convicción de lo que no se ve. La fe es muy importante para que Dios haga su obra en cada vida. Si usted no tiene fe Dios no puede trabajar en su vida. Hebreos 11:6 Pero sin fe es imposible agradar a Dios; porque es necesario que el que se acerca a Dios crea que le hay, y que es galardonador de los que le buscan. Sólo el "SEÑOR DIOS" es creador de todo lo visible e invisible,  y es por eso que necesita acercarse a Él de manera espiritual. Hebreos 11:3 Por la fe entendemos haber sido constituido el universo por la palabra de Dios, de modo que lo que se ve fue hecho de lo que no se veía. Isaías 45:12 Yo hice la tierra y creé sobre ella al hombre. Yo, mis manos extendieron los cielos, y a todo su ejército mandé. Dios tiene atributos que le permiten estar siempre cerca de usted. Dios es omnipotente y su poder lo llena todo; Dios es omnisciente y su sabiduría es perfecta para guiar la vida del ser humano; Dios es omnipresente y por lo tanto está siempre al lado suyo en cada momento de su vida; y lo más importante es que Dios le ama. Sólo Él conoce el futuro y en su omnipresencia observa la vida del hombre, esperando que éste clame a Él para solicitar su ayuda. Y al clamar a Él con fe, Dios se hace presente en la vida del ser humano. Con su omnisciencia, endereza las sendas torcidas del hombre y con su omnipotencia en toda circunstancia y situación, manifiesta su soberanía y su poder. Isaías 45:2 Yo iré delante de ti y enderezare los lugares torcidos; quebrantare puertas de bronce, y cerrojos de hierro haré pedazos. Dios anhela una relación personal con usted. Él lo está esperando con los brazos abiertos y así está escrito en su palabra. Mateo 11:28 Vengan a mí, todos los que están fatigados y cargados, y yo los haré descansar. El Amor de Dios trasciende más allá de la comprensión humana. Juan 3:16 Porque de tal manera amó Dios al mundo, que ha dado a su Hijo unigénito, para que todo aquel que en él cree no se pierda, sino que tenga vida eterna. 3.-Usted necesita meditar sobre sus caminos y ponerse a cuentas con Dios en humildad de corazón y genuino arrepentimiento ya que esto le garantiza la presencia de Dios en su vida. Mateo 4:17 Desde entonces Jesús comenzó a predicar, y decía: «Arrepiéntanse, porque el reino de los cielos se ha acercado.» Hechos 3:19 Por tanto, arrepiéntanse y conviértanse para que sean borrados sus pecados; de modo que de la presencia del Señor vengan tiempos de refrigerio. El ser humano fue creado para vivir en armonía con Dios, pero el pecado de la desobediencia nos ha separado de Él. Romanos 3:23 Por cuanto todos pecaron, y están destituidos de la gloria de Dios. El ser humano está sujeto al pecado desde la caída del hombre en el huerto del Edén, y es por esto que el hombre necesita humildad de corazón para arrepentirse de sus malos caminos que son los que lo separan de Dios. 4.-Cada uno debe admitir que no es perfecto ya que el pecado siempre está a la puerta de la vida del ser humano para enseñorearse de él; así que el hombre siempre necesitará de Dios para mejorar su camino. Génesis 4:7 «Si haces lo bueno, ¿acaso no serás enaltecido? Pero, si no lo haces, el pecado está listo para dominarte. Sin embargo, su deseo lo llevará a ti, y tú lo dominarás.» Se puede pecar con conocimiento de causa y sus consecuencias o se puede pecar en ignorancia. Hay diversas maneras de pecar: Pecamos por acción, por omisión, por palabra y por pensamiento y es importante saber que el pecado tiene un costo eterno. Romanos 6:23 "Porque la paga del pecado es muerte, pero la dádiva de Dios es vida eterna en Cristo Jesús nuestro Señor". Romanos 3:23-24 23 "Por cuanto todos pecaron y están destituidos de la gloria de Dios,  24 Siendo justificados gratuitamente por su gracia, mediante la redención que es en Cristo Jesús". Es importante examinar su propia conciencia para poder arrepentirse y pedir perdón a Dios quien no ignora la debilidad humana y que además está listo para perdonar en su infinita misericordia. Hechos 8:22 "Arrepiéntete, pues de esta tu maldad, y ruega a Dios,  si quizás te sea perdonado el pensamiento de tu corazón". -- 1 Reyes 8:39 "Tú oirás en los cielos, en el lugar de tu morada, y perdonarás, y actuarás, y darás a cada uno conforme a sus caminos, cuyo corazón tu conoces (porque sólo tú conoces el corazón de todos los hijos de los hombres)"; 2 Crónicas 7:14 si se humilla mi pueblo sobre el cual es invocado mi nombre, si oran y buscan mi rostro y se vuelven de sus malos caminos, entonces yo oiré desde los cielos, perdonaré sus pecados y sanaré su tierra. Salmos 32:5 Mi pecado te declaré y no encubrí mi iniquidad. Dije: “Confesaré mis rebeliones al SEÑOR”. Y tú perdonaste la maldad de mi pecado. Selah 5.-Usted debe analizar y entender cuan grande es el amor de Dios para haber entregado a su Hijo unigénito para el perdón de nuestros pecados: Juan 3:16 Porque de tal manera amó Dios al mundo, que ha dado a su Hijo unigénito, para que todo aquel que en él cree no se pierda, sino que tenga vida eterna. Romanos 5:8 "Pero Dios muestra su amor por nosotros en que, cuando aún éramos pecadores, Cristo murió por nosotros". 6.-Usted debe corresponder al amor de Dios: Proverbios 8:17 "Yo amo a los que me aman, y dejo que me hallen los que en verdad me buscan". (El perdón es parte de la naturaleza de Dios: Salmo 86:5 "Porque tú, Señor, eres bueno y perdonador, Y grande en misericordia para con todos los que te invocan".) El pecado fue cometido por un hombre obteniendo como consecuencia y pago la muerte física y espiritual y separación de Dios. Por lo tanto, para reconciliar al hombre de dicha separación, Dios requirió un sacrificio perfecto: el "cordero de Dios" que quita el pecado del mundo (Juan 1:29). Así que por amor a nosotros, Dios ha elegido venir al mundo como ser humano en la persona de Jesucristo; Él era ese hombre que se necesitaba para la redención de la humanidad a través de su sacrificio en la cruz: Filipenses 2:5-8 5 Que haya en ustedes el mismo sentir que hubo en Cristo Jesús, 6 quien, siendo en forma de Dios, no estimó el ser igual a Dios como cosa a que aferrarse, 7 sino que se despojó a sí mismo y tomó forma de siervo, y se hizo semejante a los hombres; 8 y estando en la condición de hombre, se humilló a sí mismo y se hizo obediente hasta la muerte, y muerte de cruz. 16 de abril de 2018, Laura Angélica Rojas Jiménez.   7.-De acuerdo con la promesa de Dios, usted hallará en Jesucristo una nueva vida que vivirá para Dios, con la ayuda de su gracia: Romanos 6:14-16 14 El pecado ya no tendrá poder sobre ustedes, pues ya no están bajo la ley sino bajo la gracia. 15 ¿Entonces, qué? ¿Pecaremos porque no estamos bajo la ley sino bajo la gracia? ¡De ninguna manera! 16 ¿Acaso no saben ustedes que, si se someten a alguien para obedecerlo como esclavos, se hacen esclavos de aquel a quien obedecen, ya sea del pecado que lleva a la muerte, o de la obediencia que lleva a la justicia? Romanos 8:1-2 1 Por tanto, no hay ninguna condenación para los que están unidos a Cristo Jesús, los que no andan conforme a la carne, sino conforme al Espíritu, 2 porque la ley del Espíritu de vida en Cristo Jesús me ha librado [como también le libra a usted] de la ley del pecado y de la muerte. Words from the Bible         Steps to Salvation          En Español   1.-Keep this brochure with you and read it every day. In it you will find Bible verses that will help you in your walk with God. 2.-Meditate deeply on the verses you read each day and while you reflect on what you read, talk to GOD each day naturally and sincerely as if you were talking to a good friend. This will allow you to begin to know God and get closer to Him spiritually so that God's work of redemption for your life begins with faith. Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Faith is very important for God to do his work in everyone's life. If you do not have faith, God cannot work in your life. Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. Only the "LORD GOD" is the creator of everything visible and invisible, and that is why you need to approach Him spiritually. Hebrews 11:3 By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible. Isaiah 45:12 I have made the earth, and created man on it. I—my hands—stretched out the heavens, and all their host I have commanded. God has attributes that allow him to always be close to you. God is omnipotent and his power fills everything; God is omniscient and his wisdom is perfect to guide the life of human beings; God is omnipresent and therefore is always by your side in every moment of your life; and the most important thing is that God loves you. Only He knows the future and in his omnipresence He watches the life of man, waiting for him to cry out to Him for his help. And by crying out to Him with faith, God makes Himself present in the life of human beings. With his omniscience, he straightens the crooked paths of man and with his omnipotence in every circumstance and situation, he manifests his sovereignty and his power. Isaiah 45:2 I will go before you and make the crooked places straight; I will break in pieces the gates of bronze and cut the bars of iron. God longs for a personal relationship with you. He is waiting for you with open arms and so it is written in his word. Matthew 11:28 Come to me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. God's Love transcends beyond human understanding. John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. 3.-You need to meditate on your ways and get right with God in humility of heart and genuine repentance as this guarantees the presence of God in your life. Matthew 4:17 From that time Jesus began to preach and to say, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” Acts 3:19 Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord. Human beings were created to live in harmony with God, but the sin of disobedience has separated us from Him. Romans 3:23 For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God; Human beings are subject to sin since the fall of man in the Garden of Eden, and this is why they need humility of heart to repent of their evil ways, which are what separate them from God. 4.-Each one must admit that he is not perfect since sin is always at the door of each one's life to rule over him; so man will always need God to improve his way. Genesis 4:7 If you do well, will you not be accepted? And if you do not do well, sin lies at the door. And its desire is for you, but you should rule over it. You can sin knowingly and with understanding of the consequences of sin or you can sin in ignorance. There are several ways one can sin: We sin by action, by omission, by word and thought and it is important to know that sin has an eternal cost. Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 3:23-24 23 For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God; 24 they are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus. It is important to examine your own conscience to be able to repent and ask for forgiveness from God who does not ignore human weakness and who is also ready to forgive in his infinite mercy. Acts 8:22 Repent therefore of this your wickedness, and pray God if perhaps the thought of your heart may be forgiven you. -- 1 Kings 8:39 Then hear in heaven your dwelling place, and forgive, and act, and give to everyone according to all his ways, whose heart you know (for you alone know the hearts of all the sons of men) 2 Chronicles 7:14 If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves, and pray and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land. Psalm 32:5 I acknowledged my sin to you, and my iniquity I have not hidden. I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the LORD,” And you forgave the iniquity of my sin. Selah 5.-You must analyze and understand how great is the love of God to have given his only begotten Son for the forgiveness of our sins: John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. Romans 5:8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. 6.-You must reciprocate the love of God: Proverbs 8:17 I love those who love me, and those who seek me diligently will find me. (Forgiveness is part of God's nature: Psalm 86:5 For you, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive, and abundant in mercy to all those who call upon you.) Sin was committed by a man, leading to the consequence of paying the price of physical and spiritual death and separation from God. Therefore to reconcile man from such separation, God required a perfect sacrifice: the "lamb of God" who takes away the sin of the world (John 1:29). So, out of love for us, God has chosen to come into the world as a human being in the person of Jesus Christ; He was that man who was needed for the redemption of humanity through his sacrifice on the cross: Philippians 2:5-8 5 Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, 6who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, 7 but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. 8 And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross.
