Trials of Faith - Sufficient Grace

God resists the proud but gives grace to the humble (James 4:6, 1 Peter 5:5). So, when you are facing a trial, and you feel that God has not given you enough grace to face the fire or the water/storm (however what He allows into your life comes to test you), consider that word. Are you remaining humble? Are you remaining in complete submission to God's will being done in your life? Even when you are not comfortable with what you are dealing with, and have no power to escape or change your situation, are you leaning on God or trying to "do something" in your own power? Knowing that God who is in control of your life and has all knowledge and wisdom allowed everything that happened in your life, are you always ready to say, "not my will, but yours be done" (Luke 22:42)? That is the key to receiving the grace that is always sufficient for you (2 Corinthians 12:9), and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, and that will guard your heart and your mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
